We got excellent value for our money at Artisan Cottage. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with charming period decor. The location was perfect for exploring the region, and the owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.
The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Easy parking, spotlessly clean, great communication and flexibility from the hosts. the cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you might need. the hosts provided a helpful guide book and some lovely extras.
No footstools in the living room, and the internet cut out a few times. the stairs can be tiring as there are three floors.

Had my own parking spot, a lovely welcome pack, and free WiFi! Stayed in a fabulous 18th-century cottage with three amazing stories. Even Bristol Airport is jealous of its charm.
Oh, how I missed the joy of paying for parking and struggling with slow internet! Not.

Very attentive host, equipped with everything you need, central location, parking! Our host provided some basics prior to arrival, fresh bakery bread, butter. The cottage is decorated to a very high standard and has everything you might need. Lovely extras supplied. Great location, spotlessly clean, easy parking. The cottage is on a peaceful street, yet just minutes away from local amenities.
The stairs can be a bit challenging, especially for older guests. The internet cut out a few times, but it wasn't a major issue.

Our host, Lisa, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She provided us with fresh bakery bread, butter, milk, eggs, and jam before our arrival. She even offered to stock anything else we may need. The cottage itself was charming and equipped with everything we needed. The central location made it convenient, and having parking available was a plus. The quality of the accommodation was top-notch, with beautiful decor and great attention to detail. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the cottage, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. Lisa and Mark, our hosts, were lovely, friendly, and always ready to help. The location of the cottage was perfect for the festival we were attending, and it was also within walking distance of Chippenham city center. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
We found the stairs a bit challenging, but it was a good exercise for us. The internet connection did cut out a few times, but it wasn't a major issue.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage in a central location. Everything was clean and in great condition, and the comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep. The owners provided a lovely breakfast spread, including fresh bakery bread and eggs. Although there was no normal TV, the internet TV allowed me to watch my favorite shows. The only drawback was that the internet connection sometimes dropped. Despite this, I highly recommend this hidden gem in Chippenham. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
